On Monday August 22nd, Jack Layton passed away. And as I do the show tonight, I can't help thinking about all the people who gathered today at Roy Thomson Hall for his funeral. Such sad news. I couldn't believe it when I heard.
No matter what your political views are, when something as tragic as death hits a family, all bets are off as they say. Please say a prayer for his loved ones who are no doubt going through a very hard time now.
God bless and remember...live, love, laugh, and enjoy. Time flies much too quickly.
